By creating an account, using a PowerBun add-in, or accessing related web pages, you agree to these Terms of Service and associated policies.
2. Service Overview
PowerBun provides AI-assisted translation workflows for HWP (Hangul) and Office documents through desktop add-ins, authenticated backend services, subscription controls, usage tracking, and third-party payment processing.
3. AI-Assisted Translation and Customer Review
- PowerBun uses AI models to produce translations and related formatting output.
- AI output can contain mistakes, omissions, or formatting issues. You are responsible for reviewing and approving the final result before relying on it.
- You must not rely on PowerBun as the sole source of truth for legal, regulatory, financial, medical, technical, safety-critical, or customer-facing decisions without human review.
4. Content Handling and Security
- PowerBun sends only the text and request data reasonably necessary to complete the requested translation or formatting operation.
- Translation requests are processed through the PowerBun API and may be sent to service providers such as the OpenAI API to generate the requested output.
- PowerBun is designed not to store raw translation text in usage logs, and production traffic between add-ins, the PowerBun API, and integrated providers is protected in transit with HTTPS/TLS.
- For organizations with stricter internal policies, additional redaction workflows may be configured to mask email addresses or selected keywords before translation.
5. Subscriptions and Billing
- Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis unless canceled before renewal.
- English/global billing, invoices, and cancellation workflows are handled through Stripe.
- Plan quotas, limits, and pricing may be updated with advance notice where required by law.
6. Eligibility, Account Security, and Acceptable Use
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for activity under your credentials and registered devices.
- You must have legal rights to process content submitted through PowerBun and may not use the service for unlawful, abusive, or rights-infringing activity.
- You may not attempt to bypass quotas, subscription checks, rate limits, or technical safeguards.
7. Availability and Changes
PowerBun may update features, AI models, operational limits, and security controls to improve reliability and compliance. We may suspend access for maintenance, legal compliance, fraud prevention, abuse mitigation, or security response.
8. Intellectual Property
PowerBun and related branding, software, and service components are owned by PowerBun or its licensors. These terms grant limited access rights and do not transfer intellectual property ownership.
9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Services are provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. Except where prohibited by law, PowerBun disclaims warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and uninterrupted availability. Translation output always requires customer review.
